Those who answer call themselves The Unmuted. But before he can take on the city’s main stage, he must find the friend who helped him begin.
But in a city that has learned to fear AI, his smallest ally carries the biggest secret.

The alarm. The traffic. The same lights overhead. Every day looked like the one before it.
Everyone had instructions for his future. Be sensible. Keep your head down. Fit the shape they gave you.
At night, back in Stafford America, he made music. For a few hours, the noise in his head became something he could shape.

The towers were still lit. Somewhere inside, tomorrow was already being planned for him.
A resignation letter waited on the screen. His hand hovered. No perfect timing. No promise that the next thing would work.
Then he sent it. Outside, the city sounded different. The doubt came with him. So did the possibility.
